Savoie graduated from Bradley University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Sience in May 2002 and
graduated from the University of Illinois with a master's of urban planning in 2005. He eventually wants to attend
law school. Savoie began skating at the age of 9. The athletes he admires most are figure skater Scott Hamilton
(1984 Olympic Champion) and basketball star Michael Jordan. His mother Marina is a librarian and his father
Michael a metallurgical engineer.
