Todd Eldredge bought hockey skates at age five, but within two weeks hat switched to figure skates because he
wanted to "jump and spin".  At age ten, he left home to follow his coach Richard Callaghan (who is coaching him
until today). Eldredge took one year off international ISU competitions in 1998/99 and came back for Skate Canada
1999 and the Four Continents Championships 2000. Eldredge took a full international competition schedule again
in the 2000/01 season. Eldredge was the 1988 World Junior Champion.
