| Bourne and Kraatz have been skating together since 1991. They were the first ice dancers to include hydro |
| blading elements in their routines. Victor Kraatz was born in Berlin and grew up in Switzerland before moving to |
| Canada with his mother. Besides speaking German and English fluently, he also knows French. The team was |
| forced to miss the 2002 ISU Grand Prix Events, because Bourne was injured. |
